Nomade’s Spanish debut
New hospitality group Nomade People has chosen Madrid for its grand opening. Taking over the well-known Las Letras Gran Via that’s currently managed by Iberostar, the five-star Hotel Nômade Madrid will be home to 93 rooms (suites included), restaurants, a speakeasy, spa and rooftop pool. Expect renovation to begin this July and doors to open by the end of 2025.
Moncler and Rick Owens go avant-garde
As part of Moncler’s City of Genius, a world inhabited by extraordinary co-creators from the worlds of design, art and music, fashion designer Rick Owens taps into architecture, designing a demountable mountain refuge inspired by Charlotte Perriand lodging owned by his in-laws. With the help of Hugh Broughton Architects, the project integrates advanced technology for off-grid living and ease of transport, with thermally insulated panels for structure and warmth. There are also sustainable water and waste systems, and a coordinated clothing collection of soft, organic cotton long johns layered beneath duvet bodysuits, which can be zipped into cosy sleeping cocoons.
Rolls-Royce debuts Cullinan Series II in Singapore
Rugged yet refined, powerful yet graceful, one can expect nothing less from the latest expression of the world’s first super-luxury SUV. As the most requested Rolls-Royce in the marque’s portfolio, the Cullinan Series II commands the urban space as a highly accomplished off-roader, underpinned by its signature Magic Carpet Ride sensation, 6.75-litre V12 engine, and all the bespoke customisation one could dream of.
Art Basel Hong Kong
Anyone with plans to visit Hong Kong this March, be sure to make time for Art Basel, happening at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 28 to 29 March 2025. At an exclusive event in Anderson C. in Seoul, in the presence of global brand ambassador Mun KaYoung and other local celebrities, a new Dolce&Gabbana makeup collection was launched. Centred around aesthetics, trends and innovation, the collection offers a wide range of products, including the APAC-exclusive Rose Glow Cushion, a brightening and moisturising foundation rich in sun protection and 24-hour hydration.
