The two new Concentrated Ginseng Rejuvenating Masks target wrinkles, loss of elasticity, irritation, and troubled skin with intensive care
There’s a certain appeal to a face mask that feels like a little more than an extra step in your skincare routine. Sulwhasoo’s latest additions to its Concentrated Ginseng Rejuvenating range take that idea into two distinct directions: one for skin that’s losing its bounce, and another for when it feels stressed, depleted or in need of a reset.
The Cream Collagen Mask is the richer of the two, drawing on the ingredients found in Sulwhasoo’s Concentrated Ginseng Rejuvenating Cream. Collagen, peptides, adenosine, and a vitamin C derivative feature in the formula, which is designed with skin elasticity and the appearance of wrinkles in mind. The mask also introduces the brand’s Double Wrapping Sheet, a close-fitting sheet designed to keep the cream in contact with the skin throughout application. Think of it as a more intensive take on the familiar sheet mask, with a cream-based formula at its centre.

For skin that feels in need of replenishment, the Ampoule Mask takes a different route. Its freeze-dried sheet is paired with a boosting ampoule, activated just before use, bringing together ginseng-derived ingredients, five types of hyaluronic acid and madecassoside. The focus here is hydration and skin barrier support, making it a natural counterpart to the cream mask’s emphasis on firmness.

While both sit within Sulwhasoo’s ginseng-led skincare philosophy, they offer distinct masking experiences: a cream-rich treatment for skin that feels less supple, and an ampoule-infused option for when hydration is front of mind.
The Concentrated Ginseng Rejuvenating Cream Collagen Mask is available now at Sulwhasoo boutiques, department store counters and the brand’s online stores. The Ampoule Mask is expected to arrive through the same channels from late November.
