This new collection will have you floating to tropical heaven. Nothing to complain about when you can be wearing beachwear for days
Hot girl summer just got a lot hotter, thanks to Valentino and online fashion retailer MyTheresa. These two have teamed up to form the Escape 2021 Capsule collection, which sees Valentino’s reinterpretation of its archives through ’60s-inspired beachwear and accessories for both men and women.
The collection comprises everything you’d pack for that dreamy beach getaway; think caftans, dresses, shorts and beachwear and accessories such as sandals, bags and beach towels. Valentino’s archival prints are the main highlights in the collection – you’ll specifically notice three of them printed on various fabrics: the Valentino Archive ‘66 featuring a kaleidoscopic pattern in shades of blue; the Archive ‘67 with a tapestry motif bathed in saturated tones; and the Archive ‘68’s iconic coral pattern.
You’ll also find these prints on the canvas toile of the Valentino Garavani Atelier tote bags in both large and small size, while bikinis and one-pieces for women sport the Valentino optical motif. The Valentino Escape 2021 collection will be available online and in select boutiques, and on MyTheresa.
