Long the favoured upholsterer of Ferrari automobiles, Poltrono Frau brings forth a vision merging two industrial philosophies. The Cockpit chair (President RM58,00, S$19,000) and Executive RM48,000, S$15,000) celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Maranello carmaker and was conceived by Flavio Manzoni, who designed the LaFerrari Aperta, GTC4Lusso and the 812 Superfast.
The chair’s shell is moulded from carbon or alutex, with the highest ergonomic know-how embedded in its mechanism. Design elements that are similar to the Ferrari’s steering wheel are incorporated in the chair’s swivel device, with its leather shades and finishes inspired by Ferrari’s Tailor-Made service line.
