You aren’t alone if you’ve made grand plans to enjoy a grand spread during Christmas. We’ve rounded up five of our favourite hotels, whose restaurants are guaranteed to make your mouth water. And if you’re afraid of overeating, just remember, calories piled on during festive seasons don’t really count!
Capella Singapore
Capella Singapore’s annual tradition has bestowed upon us once again, but this time it is celebrated with a fairy tale touch through the theme Once upon a Christmas. Our only advice: arrive with an empty stomach as you’ll be stuffing yourself with a myriad of sumptuous Yuletide delights, ranging from the gluten-free Vanilla-Greek Yogurt Log Cake with Lemon Verbena Curd to cocoa nibs and flaxseed genoise. Of course, a live turkey carving station is at your disposal should you not want to leave without savouring some festive, juicy meat.

It truly isn’t a merry Christmas without log cakes. The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is offering five exclusive log cake flavours for the season of gifting including Rose and Lychee and Grapefruit. Plus, its annual Christmas eve and Christmas brunches, held in The Grand Ballroom, includes Honey-Glazed Gammon Ham, fresh seafood, oven-baked turkey and live carving stations. On Christmas Day itself, your little ones will also have a ball of a time enjoying kiddy rides, going on a bouncy castle, participating in face painting booths and more. Like The Ritz-Carlton, celebrations start proper on 24 December and carry on until the next day. There are the usual suspects: roast beef, baked seabass, lamb rack, prime ribs, seared scallops and lobster thermidor. Then, those that have been designed to delight this season: goat cheese crème brulee and a double boiled Herbal Duck Consomme.
