Bottega Veneta launches Bottega for Bottegas 2025

By Amos Chin 10 December, 2025

Bottega Veneta celebrates artisanal excellence with Bottega for Bottegas 2025, spotlighting craftspeople from Venice, New York, and Milan

First introduced in 2021, the Bottega for Bottegas initiative was conceived to support smaller-scale artisans, providing a platform for their work to reach a global audience. Over the years, it has evolved into an annual showcase of workshops and studios that reflect Bottega Veneta’s devotion to detail, quality, and timeless design.

This year, the maison turns the spotlight on artisans from the three cities that have profoundly shaped its identity. The selection is intentional: Bottega Veneta’s connection to these cities runs deep. Founded in Vicenza in 1966, the house has long drawn inspiration from Venice’s unique environment, artisanal traditions, and cross-cultural history—elements that inform everything from the iconic intrecciato knot to its inaugural fragrance collection, encased in rippling glass bottles. New York, home to the maison’s first international boutique in 1972, expanded the house’s cultural footprint and forged ties with the city’s dynamic creative scene. Meanwhile, Milan, where the design office relocated in the late 1990s, remains the house’s headquarters and the stage for its celebrated runway shows.

In this year’s collection, Milan’s Ganci Argenterie contributes two silverplate glasses, while New York’s Heath Wagoner presents sterling silver cocktail sticks featuring the house’s signature knot motif. From Venice, Paolo Olbi offers a handbound notebook, envisioned as a journal for cocktail recipes or evening reflections—an elegant nod to the social rituals that define Italian culture.

Bottega for Bottegas 2025 not only honours artisanal excellence in these foundational cities but also celebrates the cherished Italian aperitivo—a moment of conviviality and refinement that resonates with the festive season. It is a reminder that luxury is as much about the hands that craft it as the objects themselves, and that true craftsmanship transcends borders, connecting culture, creativity, and time-honoured tradition.
