In addition to the reopening of these restaurants, Marina Bay Sands will also launch a special takeaway platform this 4 July 2020
Things are finally looking up in the city as we gradually ease into our pre-Circuit Breaker lifestyles. Simple routines that have grown distant over the recent months can now be enjoyed once again – be it getting that fix of retail therapy, hitting the gym or dining out with loved ones. More recently, the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands has announced its plan to resume its F&B businesses in staggered phases. This 27 June, five of its celebrity chef and signature restaurants – Black Tap, Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, Mott 32 and Yardbird Southern Table & Bar – will finally lift their shutters to welcome dine-in customers.
Yes, dine-in service will resume in these five restaurants, but with safe distancing measures set in place. In line with the restaurants’ reopenings, the shopping mall’s brand-new Gourmet Takeaway platform will also kick in this 4 July, serving up more than 120 signature dishes and beverages from the five restaurants that are opening this weekend. Eventually, the takeaway menu will list over 260 items from the shopping mall’s 12 celebrity chef and signature establishments. Simply order online, set a collection time and pick it up via drive-through at the Sands Expo or at the restaurant itself.
So, prepare thy stomachs. Here are the three best restaurants with stellar takeaway menus that are available this 4 July 2020 onwards.
CUT by Wolfgang Puck
For the first time, one-Michelin-starred CUT by Wolfgang Puck is offering takeouts – so one can still have access to that well-deserved steak fix without having to dine in the restaurant. The 21-Day Aged, Corn-fed USDA Prime Steak is available in various cuts, starting from S$80. Feeling a little more indulgent? Opt for the Snake River Farms American wagyu, a more well-marbled cut with a starting price of S$160. Five of CUT’s handcrafted cocktails are available for takeaway too, which include the vodka-based Garden of Eden (S$90 for 500ml), barrel-aged Bespoke Negroni (S$90 for 500ml), and the signature Rough Love (S$162+ for 1.1 litres; that’s six servings), paired with a bottle of Champagne.

Mott 32
Hailing from Hong Kong, fine dining Cantonese restaurant Mott 32 opened to much fanfare early this year with its time-honoured regional Chinese recipes. The Barbecue Pluma Iberico Pork (S$48), drenched in yellow mountain honey, is available in limited portions daily. Also not to be missed are signature dishes such as Wok-Fried Flat Rice Noodles with US Black Angus Beef (S$32) and Crispy King Prawns with Chinese Rice Wine, Vinegar and Chili (S$42), a delicious mess of prawns stir-fried over high heat and then peppered with fragrant sesame and crispy white mugwort.

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer
When the going gets tough, the tough ought to get a… fat, juicy burger. At least that’s what we believe in. You can’t go wrong with Black Tap’s Texan Burger or Greg Norman Burger (S$27), the three-time People’s Choice Award winner at the NYC Wine & Food Festival. For a lighter option, order the Vegan Spinach Salad (S$21), served with quinoa, pomegranate, avocado, apples, spiced glazed pecans and lemon miso vinaigrette.
