The Damiani Ode all’Italia high jewellery collection celebrates the beauty of Italy

By Audrey Simon 13 March, 2026

From Mediterranean coastlines to Tuscan hills and Rome’s architectural splendour, Damiani translates Italy’s landscapes into exceptional high jewellery creations

From the deep blue of the Mediterranean to the rolling green hills of the countryside and the architectural splendour of its historic cities, Italy has long been a source of inspiration. These landscapes and cultural treasures form the foundation of Ode all’Italia, Damiani’s latest high jewellery collection.

Conceived as a tribute to Italy, Ode all’Italia, the Italian house honours the landscapes, architecture, and artistic traditions that have shaped the country’s identity for centuries. The collection unfolds across three thematic chapters, each inspired by a different facet of Italy’s natural and cultural scenery.

Lights of the sea

The first chapter is bathed in Mediterranean light, with jewels that capture the vibrant palette of Italy’s coastal regions—from turquoise waters and sun-warmed stone streets to citrus groves and blooming bougainvillea.

Among the highlights is the Marea Rosa necklace, a fluid composition in white and pink gold that evokes the gentle movement of waves along the Sardinian coast. At its centre lies an extraordinary 46.71-carat Paraiba tourmaline, its vivid greenish-blue hue recalling the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean. Marquise-cut morganites and diamonds shimmer across the design like sunlight dancing on the sea, while an intricately crafted box clasp hidden at the back reveals the meticulous artistry behind the jewel.

Landscapes of the soul

The second chapter turns to Italy’s hinterland, celebrating the natural beauty of its countryside, from the rolling hills of Tuscany and alpine peaks to tranquil lakes and dramatic volcanic terrain.

The Dolce Stil Novo necklace embodies this landscape, drawing its name from the 13th-century Italian literary movement that celebrated beauty and emotion. Crafted in white, yellow and pink gold, the design evokes winding Tuscan paths lined with cypress trees and fields of wheat.

At its centre is a remarkable 31.46-carat Colombian emerald in a vivid green “Muzo” hue, surrounded by an intricate arrangement of emeralds and diamonds in a variety of cuts. Delicate floral motifs, including daisies, appear throughout the composition, echoing the romantic imagery of medieval times. Demonstrating Damiani’s craftsmanship, the necklace can also be transformed into two separate pieces: a shorter necklace and a bracelet.

Dwellings of time

The final chapter draws inspiration from Italy’s historic cities, whose architecture and cultural legacy have captivated travellers for centuries. From Rome’s monumental landmarks to the geometric harmony of Renaissance squares, these urban masterpieces are the collection’s structured designs.

The Aethernitas necklace pays homage to the Eternal City. Inspired by the symmetry of the Pantheon’s dome and the grandeur of St Peter’s Basilica, the jewel features a striking 5.01-carat fancy yellow-green diamond set within a circular pendant that can also be detached and worn as a brooch.

Encircled by brilliant-cut diamonds, the centre stone captures light with remarkable brilliance, reflecting both Rome’s enduring splendour and Damiani’s mastery of high jewellery craftsmanship.
