Chef Tim Meijers

Pandemic or no pandemic, a good food delivery service is always welcome. And if you want a job done well, you can always count on chef Tim Meijers and his team to smash it. Armed with Michelin-starred expertise from all over Europe and formerly the head chef at Saint Pierre, Meijers has launched The Artisan Dining Box, a Japanese- and French-influenced meal featuring all his greatest hits.

First conceptualised in 2020 as a collection of 12 canapés in a beautiful black, gold-lined box, it’s now evolved to bigger and better bites. Choose between the three-course Classic (S$172) or five-course Bespoke (S$178) menu. Either way, it will be delivered to you by a butler, impeccably dressed in black, and great quality is of course, an understatement. Made only with the finest ingredients (sardine is air-flown from Hokkaido, for example) – neither processed nor frozen – everything is designed to be delicious at room temperature and to last for as long as four hours.

Classic menu

The three-course Classic menu consists of a Hokkaido Scallop Pudding with scallop tataki, burnt grapefruit, roasted cauliflower and dashi emulsion; the all-time favourite Homemade Angel Hair Pasta with wild mushroom duxelles, Baeri caviar and winter truffle shavings; and an A5 Wagyu Beef Rib Eye with fava beans, whole grain mustard compote, bulgur salad and hollandaise sauce.

Bespoke menu

For S$6 more, we recommend the Bespoke menu, a carefully orchestrated five-course meal. Starting off with Roasted Lamb, Carrots and Spinach Emulsion, it will then continue with a Foie Gras Terrine and Smoked Duck Breast, topped with green apple compote, fresh truffle shavings and aged balsamic vinegar. You’ll then move on to Grilled Sardines with rouille, yuzu and salted lemon; the Boston Lobster Rouleaux with wild mushroom duxelles and caviar; and finally, a Mango Bavarois with pomegranate and white chocolate.

Robb Tip: If necessary, Tim’s Fine Catering will happy to accommodate to any dietary restriction or preferences. Each set will also arrive in an elegant, sturdy box, along with napkins and biodegradable cutlery.
