The Orchard Road belt may have been a little quieter than usual this year, but the buzz at one mall in particular is very much alive. Scotts Square has been welcoming flagship stores of various luxury brands, including Christian Louboutin and Delvaux, and now French perfume house, Fragrance Du Bois.
Shifting its premises from The Fullerton Hotel Singapore after slightly more than two years of operation, the new store sits in a cosy 75sqm of space on the ground floor.
The shop retains its polished interior of black walls and gold accents, one that waxes lyrical of a classic Parisian salon.
Here, you’ll get to sample the entire Shades Du Bois collection, each made with 100 per cent sustainable oud, and designed with the concept of vivid colours in mind. Not a fan of the musty-woody-nutty scent of agarwood? The Nature’s Treasures collection will delight, for not a hint of oud was used in brand’s hand-blended collection. For those who have to abstain from alcohol for allergy reasons or religious purposes, Fragrance Du Bois has ingeniously come up with alcohol-free gel serum pens.
To the left of the shop sits a VIP area, encouraging guests to create bespoke blends with the help of its in-house perfumer. Take whiffs of scent molecules including cotton candy, vanilla, apple, pear and rose, and design a perfume unique to your skin type.
A select range of other renowned perfumes is also available in store. In time to come, Fragrance Du Bois will expand its range of offerings to include lightly scented oud bracelets.
