It’s the fifth time the house has designed a bespoke piece for the tournament

Before Spain was crowned this year’s FIFA World Cup champion, all eyes were on Louis Vuitton‘s 2026 FIFA World Cup Trophy Trunk. Marking the fifth time the luxury house has designed such a case for the international tournament (previous iterations include the World Cups held in South Africa, Brazil, Russia, and Qatar), the bespoke trunk and coveted trophy housed inside, made their debut at the final game in New Jersey on Sunday.

This year’s trunk was crafted in the maison’s historic Asnières-sur-Seine workshops, located just outside of Paris. The classic Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas covers the case itself, alongside two front panels that are adorned with a golden “V”—standing for “Victory” and “Vuitton.” Other details include LV’s signature leather trim, gold-plated brass corner protectors, and a lock. The clasps are also an homage to those used on LV trunks since the 1860s. The interior, meanwhile, is done up in a light beige leather, with a patch on the lid that shows off the partnership logo between Louis Vuitton and FIFA.

“We are thrilled to continue this partnership for the FIFA World Cup 2026,” Pietro Beccari, CEO & chairman of Louis Vuitton, said in a press statement. “At its heart stands the world’s most coveted trophy—a symbol of dedication, collective ambition, and the ultimate celebration of victory. For this new edition, the Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk continues this legacy, accompanying the iconic moment when football’s greatest achievement is celebrated and history is made.”

And though you obviously can’t take the real World Cup trunk home, you can snag a lookalike if you’re lucky. Louis Vuitton has also dropped a very limited collection of three trunks inspired by the design of this year’s trophy holder. First up is a Coffret 8 Montres that can hold eight watches, followed by a Cotteville 16 Montres, for storage of 16 timepieces. Last but not least is the Malle Courrier Lozine 110, made to tote around your clothing and other accessories—and you can get all three pieces of the trio customised with your initials, too.
