In a dramatic debut set against sunset-lit skies at Gardens by the Bay, Mercedes-Benz Singapore unveiled the highly anticipated Mercedes-AMG GT 63. And yet, that wasn’t the star of the show; the ultra-exclusive Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO “Motorsport Collectors Edition” made its first appearance alongside the GT 63. These latest additions to the AMG family spotlight the brand’s relentless pursuit of performance, blending cutting-edge technology with F1-inspired design.
The GT 63 PRO ‘Motorsport Collectors Edition’ understandably drew significant attention. With just 200 units worldwide, and being one of two units right on our shores, how could it not? The design pays homage to the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, with green accents visible on the 21-inch AMG forged wheels, brake calipers, and throughout the car’s obsidian black metallic body. This hand-painted masterpiece is as much a work of art as it is a high-performance beast; under its bonnet, you’ll find a blistering 4.0-litre V-8 bi-turbo engine delivering 612 hp and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. Completing the century sprint in just 3.2 seconds, the car embodies the racetrack spirit of the F1 circuit, making it the ultimate collector’s piece for discerning enthusiasts.
Choosing Singapore for its global premiere wasn’t by chance. Known for hosting the world’s first Formula 1 night street race back in 2008, our little red dot has cultivated a strong motorsport culture, offering an ideal backdrop for such a momentous launch.
