For Omega’s latest watch collection, you’ll need to pick between good and evil
The Swiss manufacturer has just unveiled a new lineup of Seamaster Diver 300Ms inspired by James Bond and Spectre, the fictitious crime org seen in the 007 flicks. Three of the timepieces pay homage to the famed MI6 spy, while the other trio is dedicated to all things Spectre—and two of the models are joining Omega’s permanent collection.
The duo that’s here to stay is made of stainless steel and sits at 42 mm. Each is also home to Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, which offers up a 55-hour power reserve. The James Bond iteration, a.k.a. Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004, offers up a grade-5 titanium bezel ring and a blue aluminum dial that’s laser-engraved with a wave pattern. Flip it over, and the caseback is home to the classic 007 moniker. The Spectre edition (Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023) comes with a black ceramic bezel ring and a blackened grain finish on the dial, alongside the spy organisation’s signature octopus emblem on the caseback.

As for the limited editions in the lineup, those models come in two sets—one dedicated to 007, the other Spectre, with just 77 numbered sets of each up for grabs. Both options will include a stainless-steel model with a brushed mesh bracelet alongside a platinum-gold iteration on a leather strap. The former will have that limited-edition number on a plate at 9 o’clock; the latter, meanwhile, will have a bezel ring done up in polished ceramic and a platinum diving scale. If you opt for the James Bond edition, you’ll see an 18-karat gold dial with a PVD gradient blue gun-barrel pattern, and the Spectre version has a dark-gray dial with an octopus-inspired design. The sets also each come with a presentation box with a slew of accessories in their respective colourways, including a loupe, a travel pouch, and a cardholder.

“We are extremely proud of this collection. Omega has been the watch of James Bond for more than 30 years, and this is the first time we have brought James Bond and Spectre together in a collection,” Raynald Aeschlimann, president and CEO of Omega, said in a press statement. “Both belong to the same story, and our customers have always known both sides of it. Now they can wear both.”
The permanent Seamaster Diver 300M models in the lineup will cost a cool US$8,600, while those limited editions are set at US$89,900. For more details, or to snag the watches for yourself, head to Omega’s website.
