Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Ultimate Carbon

Always game for new ways to shake up the luxury watch industry, Roger Dubuis revelled in the cool juxtaposition between diamonds and carbon in the new Excalibur Spider Ultimate Carbon. Black multi-layered carbon is used for the case and strap both of which have been skeletonised so that dazzling baguette-cut diamonds may be used to fill the space – a design concept unprecedented even for Roger Dubuis.

More diamonds adorn the movement, which is also skeletonised and features the Astral Skeleton star that has come to define the Excalibur Spider timepieces. This unique motif is filled with baguette-cut gems, as has the tourbillon carriage been studded with the stones. Finally, the watch’s bezel features 12 hour segments, each one gem-set with five baguette diamonds. All in, 195 diamonds complete this stunning work of haute horlogerie.

As rare as it is daring, the Excalibur Spider Ultimate Carbon is a spectacular demonstration of Roger Dubuis’ flair for combining bold aesthetics with cutting edge technical skills.
