Zenith’s Defy 21 Pink Edition takes on a worthy cause for women
Why you should care: The Zenith Defy 21 Pink Edition is the world’s first chronograph with a pink-treated movement and it’s certainly not for the wallflowers amongst us. The open black and golden dial reveals accents of bright pink on the movement – turn the watch around, and the oscillating weight is coloured in this vibrant hue as well. Further adding to the flamboyant effect are 288 brilliant white diamonds and 44 scintillating baguette-cut pink sapphire stones set into the rose gold case, and a pink alligator strap. In fitting fashion, proceeds from the Defy 21 Pink Edition will be donated to the Pink Ribbon movement, which endeavours to raise awareness and provide support to women battling breast cancer. A special edition of the watch, the Defy 21 Pink Ribbon Edition, will also be auctioned at the upcoming 10th Anniversary Pink Ribbon Switzerland Music Gala.
