In 2007, with the Lady Arpels Feerie, Van Cleef & Arpels singlehandedly invented the idea of the Poetic Complication. Now, the best examples of its creative timekeeping have made their way to Singapore, along with the latest launches at the 2017 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie.
From now until 26 February, the Poetry of Time Exhibition will show such exemplary pieces like the Midnight Planétarium Poetic Complication, the Lady Arpels Papillon Automate, and the Lady Arpels Jour Nuit Fée Ondine. The French luxury jewellery-watchmaker also flew in an artisan from its headquarters in Paris to give you the 411 on traditional Grand Feu enamelling plus a host of age-old artisanal crafts.
No matter what your horological proclivities, the exhibits, which draw inspiration from large themes like nature, astronomy, love stories, and couture, are certain to send you straight onto horological seventh heaven.
The exhibition is held at Level 1 Atrium in Ion Orchard, 2 Orchard Turn, from 11am – 9pm daily.
