United by a shared commitment to material innovation, British brands Burberry and Hunza G collaborate on a swimwear capsule
The sun’s out—time to head for the beach. This summer, Burberry joins forces with swimwear label Hunza G on a capsule designed with an inclusive, all–body-types ethos.
“Hunza G has always been about making women feel their most confident,” professes Georgiana Huddart, founder and creative director of Hunza G. “Bringing that together with the heritage of Burberry felt natural, to create something special that feels effortless. That’s always been the goal.”
At the heart of the collection is Hunza G’s Original Crinkle ultra-stretch fabric crafted with more than nine million stitches per garment–the trailblazing materials with a unique ability to support and sculpt to every body.
Here, the trademark textile anchors the brand’s signature silhouettes–the Faye, Tyler, Domino and Devyn–with the essence of Burberry lending a familiar graphic rhythm throughout.
On the trims of swimsuits, bikinis, and a multifunctional swim skirt and tube top, the Burberry Check adds a juxtaposition to the Burberry-inspired colour palette of black, white, metallic cocoa and red. An interplay of codes, the collection also boasts a new seahorse motif that reimagines the Burberry Knight for underwear adventures, boasting the B shield and a banner sporting the Hunza G lettering.
In select stores worldwide and online, the summer capsule is rounded out with complementary scrunchies; each swimwear comes with a matching hair accessory designed for the beach—or wherever the season takes you.
