Time Space
The Breguet flagship boutique in Singapore recently reopened its doors at a new location within Marina Bay Sands. It is now more spacious at 134sqm compared to the 115sqm of its previous store. The aesthetics of the interior was kept timeless and sophisticated, with the extensive use of fine walnut wood creating a soothing environment.
Illuminating the space softly are hidden track lights arranged around an elliptical drop ceiling that recalls the ovoid dials of the Reine de Naples watches. More references to the watches are found on the glass walls where the engraving references the famous clous de Paris or hobnail guilloche. To mark the grand opening, heritage director Emmanuel Breguet curated a selection of pocket watches for a temporary exhibit.
