Ground Wellbeing makes its Asian debut at Capella Singapore’s Auriga Spa

By Weixian Low 13 October, 2026

Ground Wellbeing, the Cork-born wellness label, brings four restorative rituals to Capella Singapore in Sentosa, its first address in the region

Sentosa’s most storied spa has picked up an Irish accent. Since 22 September, Auriga Spa at Capella Singapore has been the first place in Asia to offer the treatments of Ground Wellbeing, the brand Peigín Crowley founded in Cork in 2020 after more than three decades in the spa industry.

The pairing is a considered one. Auriga, which has held its Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Spa rating every year since 2013, has long built its menu around the body’s natural rhythms. Ground, named Best Emerging Spa Product Brand at The Global Spa Awards this year, works in a similar register: purposeful touch, therapeutic aromatherapy, and plant-based formulations handmade in small batches in Ireland. Its products already appear at properties such as Bvlgari, Four Seasons, and Rosewood.

The menu has four experiences. The Biome Calm Facial (S$450++, 90 minutes) pairs bio-identical ingredients and plant lipids with calming massage and facial reflexology. The Biome Repair Facial (S$450++, 90 minutes) is aimed at sensitive or compromised skin, working to strengthen the barrier and calm inflammation. For the chronically under-slept, the Sleep Repair Ritual (S$350++ for 90 minutes, or S$470++ for 120) combines flowing massage, pressure points, and mindful breathwork, finished with organic geranium and jasmine absolute.

The final ritual has the most charming name, and it’s the one I’d book again. Tóg Go Bog É, Irish for “take it softly”, is a 90-minute massage (S$350++) built on slow, rhythmic techniques and grounding essential oils. I sank into a plush massage bed in the quiet of a private treatment room while aromatic sweet orange and geranium essential oils washed over my senses; it was the most blissful 90 minutes I’ve spent in a long while.

“From the outset, Ground has been about helping people reconnect with themselves through simple, purposeful rituals,” says Crowley. In a city that rarely slows down, that may be the most persuasive pitch of all.

The treatments are open to public, and a selection of Ground products is available to take home at Auriga Spa. Reservations can be made here, via email at [email protected], or through phone at +65 6591 5022.
