Hennessy releases the first Master Blender’s Selection limited-edition cognac in three years

The Hennessy Master Blender’s Selection No. 5, made by Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, is a celebration of passion and expertise of 18 distillers

Hennessy‘s Master Blender’s Selection collection is often considered a best-kept secret. First released in 2016, it’s a composition of unique blends that will stay unique for a very long time.

The fifth and latest blend, which launched not long ago, is the result of craftsmanship, tradition and innovation. Made under the watchful eye of eighth generation master blender, Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, the Master Blender’s Selection No. 5 is a celebration of passion and expertise of 18 distillers.

It took an unprecedented eaux-de-vie selection process to create this latest iteration. Matured for at least seven years in French oak barrels—a reason for its aromatic complexity—the different eaux-de-vie from these 18 distillers were selected and combined, creating a blend that can’t be matched. The nose invites you to a sophisticated world of spice and candied orange, while the palate brings on luscious cocoa and a comforting creaminess. It is recommended you drink it neat or on the rocks, but as it is said, the best drink is how you like it.

The Hennessy Master Blender’s Selection No. 5 is available in limited numbers and sold exclusively by select retailers in the USA. Yours for US$99 (750ml). More information here.
