Primed for a single party of 14 to 25 guests, Hideaway shares Nae:um’s elegance and innovative Korean soul
It’s no secret that the restaurant business is facing a slowdown right now, prompting closures here and there. Maybe it’s underperformance, maybe it’s the cost-conscious consumer. But for those with deep pockets, I reckon the idea of dining in the space of one’s home has gotten a lot more appealing, considering the intimate one-of-a-kind experience you would get.
You could play hostess with the mostest, or you could let the experts do the work for you. Hideaway, a new extension of Nae:um, is a private experience space nestled in a shophouse above the one-Michelin-starred restaurant. Taking a page out of the Korean farmhouse book, it offers the comfort of a home away from home, complete with a dining room, open kitchen and living room—perfect for the time of your life with your nearest and dearest, away from the public eye.
Primed for a single party of 14 seated guests (or 25 standing), Hideaway shares Nae:um’s elegance and innovative soul. A dedicated team of waitstaff promises you are well taken care of, while a team of chefs will ensure its contemporary Seoul cuisine lives up to Nae:um’s standards and more. Go for an inventive Hideaway-exclusive menu that ventures beyond borders—dishes include Milssam, a herb-embellished Korean-style pancake stuffed with smoky iberico pork—or choose to stick to one of Nae:um’s signatures. Depending on the time of the day, lunch or dinner, meals range from four to eight courses, with a minimum spend to keep in mind.
Hideaway is open every day. Book one week in advance to avoid disappointment.
