Urwerk’s SpaceTime Blade Series

There’s a new kind of instrument by Urwerk that transcends traditional notions of time and space, without the need for case, dial or satellite complication. Known as the SpaceTime Blade Limited Series, it is designed to match the size of Urwerk’s dreams, which to say it’s big is an understatement. Made possible by top-rate specialists, the SpaceTime Blades is an imposing space-time indicator and a measuring instrument that harkens to the tradition of gnomons. Made from bronze and handmade Nixie bulbs, it displays more than just hours and minutes, but the distance of the Earth’s daily rotation around the sun.

Montblanc Masters of Art Homage to Gustav Klimt

Human civilisation is nothing without art. Montblanc shines light on the indelible mark artists have left behind with its Masters of Art line, a series of collections that honour great artists and their quest for self-expression. This time, it pays tribute to the creative visionary that is Gustav Klimt (1862 to 1918), one of the most important artists of Art Nouveau and symbolism. A pioneer of the avant-garde, he was known for rebelling against stereotypes and experimenting with the new and uncommon, producing famous gold-infused paintings like The Kiss and abstract murals like Beethoven Frieze. Five limited editions make up this homage to Klimt, each pen referencing artistic milestones, famous works and more. Find out more here.

Dior’s Les Cerisiers line

Sharing the same passion for tradition and the avant-garde, Christian Dior saw Japan as a place of fascination, admiring it for cultural wealth, refinement and purity. To pay tribute to the land of the Rising Sun, Dior Maison has unveiled Les Cerisiers, a collection inspired by ‘Jardin Japonais’, an haute couture ensemble of spring/summer 1953, sublimated by a bird motif on a cherry blossom tree. In this collection, you’d find a series of essential pieces—decorative objects, tableware and the like—adorned with this reinterpreted iconic design.

Mr Porter’s exclusive Argylle by Kingsman collection

Online menswear destination Mr Porter and filmmaker of the Kingsman franchise, Matthew Vaughn, has released a new costume-to-collection collaboration by luxury menswear label, Kingsman. Aptly named Argylle by Kingsman, the collection is inspired by characters from Vaughn’s recent film, Argylle, a reality-bending spy thriller that launched in February. There are 16 pieces in the lot, including a herringbone safari jacket and trousers inspired by Samuel L Jackson’s character, Alfred Solomon, and a green velvet nehru jacket inspired by Henry Cavill’s character, Argylle.
