It doesn’t take a wine connoisseur to know that some of the world’s most coveted wines hail from the cellars of Bordeaux. The success of Bordeaux as the largest wine-producing region in France can be boiled down to one simple fact: it’s unbeatable location.
Possessing an ideal climate and soil to grow grapes, Bordeaux also serves as a major port city, paving the way for local winemakers to access different regions across the world.
Singapore-based wine merchant Corndale Consultants has decided to bring the creme de la creme of Bordeaux to wherever you are with the Imperial Box Queen Collection.
The collection, which weighs over 132kg in total, is a limited-edition series of five handpicked six-litre wine bottlings from the legendary 2009 vintage variety from Bordeaux: Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2009 Imperial, Chateau Lafite Rothschild 2009 Imperial, Chateau Haut Brion 2009 Imperial, Chateau Margaux 2009 Imperial and Chateau Latour 2009 Imperial. The wines have been exquisitely encapsulated in a custom-made box, with its lid bearing a charming chessboard design.
Only two of this treasure trove of rare bottlings are available for purchase worldwide, and both are available for purchase by Robb Report readers.
