The year begins on a high note for art collectors and enthusiasts as Art SG 2026 returns for its fourth edition from 23 to 25 January at Marina Bay Sands, presented by its founding and lead partner, UBS
Jin Yee Young, co-head of UBS Global Wealth Management Asia Pacific and country head of UBS Singapore, notes that the recently published Art Basel and UBS Survey of Global Collecting by Arts Economics highlights strong interest in emerging talent in Singapore, particularly among female collectors. With this optimism, she says: “We expect a vibrant turnout of artists, art collectors, and enthusiasts at Art SG 2026. We are thrilled that SEA Focus will be a part of Art SG this year, showcasing the region’s artistic developments and reinforcing the significance of Art SG as Southeast Asia’s preeminent art fair.”

To further support emerging talent, she announced the launch of the Art SG Futures Prize presented by UBS, an initiative that reflects the financial giant’s commitment to the Asia Pacific region. At the fair, UBS will display works from its art collection in the UBS Lounge and UBS Art Studio. The prize includes a S$10,000 award recognising an outstanding emerging artist featured in the Futures sector.
Additionally, UBS will showcase I Love You (2007) by Melati Suryodarmo, an Indonesian performance artist, at the UBS Art Studio on the first level of the fair, which will be open to the public. This presentation reaffirms UBS’s support for cultural initiatives worldwide and its belief in contemporary art’s ability to inspire dialogue, deepen understanding, and enrich lives.
