From time-honoured baked classics to spirited snowskin creations dressed in handsome collectible boxes, this year’s mooncake season is serving tradition with a side of indulgence
Mid-Autumn Festival is the time of year when hotels and dining establishments pull out all the stops, unveiling mooncake collections that range from reverently traditional to cleverly contemporary.
This season, expect the usual favourites: silky lotus pastes, savoury yolks and delicate skins, alongside flavour pairings that lean more playful, luxurious, and occasionally boozy. The packaging, too, has become part of the appeal, with many collections arriving in beautifully designed boxes that feel every bit as giftable as the treats within. Whether you’re shopping for clients, bringing a box to dinner, or simply seeking a worthy excuse to stock up, these eight mooncake collections deserve a place on your radar.

The Black Pearl
The Black Pearl’s The Celestial Pearl collection makes a strong case for gifting that looks every bit as considered as what lies within. Priced at S$108 per box, the set of four arrives in a suede-lined keepsake case dressed in deep purple hues and iridescent accents, its mother-of-pearl-inspired finish lending it a luxurious glow.
Inside, the assortment strikes a thoughtful balance between tradition and novelty, spanning familiar favourites such as the Baked Custard Filling with Egg Yolk and Low Sugar White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Yolk, alongside more contemporary creations like Longjing with Pumpkin Seeds and Purple Sweet Potato with Milk Lotus. Those who prefer a fully classic route can opt for the Golden Custard Box, while the Pearl Harmony Box offers a mixed selection.
Early-bird orders enjoy 30 per cent off until 31 August, with pre-orders running from 1 July onwards.

TWG Tea debuts its new leading lady: Miss Tea, a decidedly glamorous Mid-Autumn collection that bridges tea ritual, gifting and a touch of old-world pageantry. Presented in a striking teal-and-gold keepsake box, the range features 12 artisanal mooncakes: six baked, and six snowskin, all infused with the brand’s signature blends. Among the standouts are new creations such as Blossom, with Miss Tea-infused white lotus paste, dried longan and a rose confit heart, and Jewel, which pairs Miss Tea-infused yam paste with a pumpkin pudding centre. Returning signatures such as Constellation will also appeal to those who prefer a more classic expression.
The collection is priced at S$90 for a set of four mooncakes paired with Miss Tea, S$70 for a set of six mooncakes, and S$15 per piece, and will be available from 20 August 2026 for a limited time at all TWG Tea Salons & Boutiques in Singapore.
